Is your dog displaying a problem behaviour? Before deciding to embark upon a behaviour modification programme, it is important to first consult with your veterinarian in order to rule out any medical problems. Pain, thyroid or other hormone imbalance, and many other medical conditions can cause all sorts of changes in behaviour, from reluctance to eat or play, to irritability and aggression.

If you would like me to work with you and your dog’s problem behaviour, we need to work closely with your veterinarian. It has been shown through studies that the best solutions to severe behaviour problems are usually found in a combination of medications and a well designed, humane behaviour modification programme. Outside of contact with your veterinarian, your file will be confidential.

It is important that we start with as complete a history as possible. For that purpose, I will be asking you to complete a confidential Behaviour Questionnaire before our first consultation.

If you would like to discuss your dog’s behaviour with me, please contact me via e-mail info@cowichancanine.ca or call 250-743-7648 or 250-732-5415.
